About Me
Hello I am Jimmy Lin.
I recently graduated from RMIT's Bachelors of Games Design and I am also working as a part-time Early Childhood Educator. I have a passion for story-telling, education and most definitely games! I hope to be able to create works that can share a love and curiosity for the world we live in :)
I am proficient in programming with C# and GDscript, and working within Unity and Godot game engines. I also work in Blender and Maya for 3D modeling pipelines. I am familiar with character animation and 2D/3D rigging. I’m always keen on learning new skills depending on the specifics of each project I undertake.
Through various projects such as game jams and university projects, I have practiced rapid prototyping and iterative production timelines in subjects such as ‘Game-a-week’ (I did make a game almost every week for a whole semester). In my capstone project, as producer, I was able to plan the project iteratively in response to obstacles and feedback and show leadership in facilitating other team member’s creative output.
When I’m not making games or looking after children I play Volleyball, go for hikes and cook food for my friends.
